Ann was born on August 31, 1957, the third of six children to Harold Eugene Fredrickson and Rosalee Ann Rowe Fredrickson in Richland, Washington.
Ann attended Christ the King Catholic Primary school, then went on to Richland High School, graduating in 1975. Ann was known to be a shy, very quiet student. She sprouted up to 5'-11", when most classmates were much shorter in stature. She did not realize what an advantage it was to be tall at that time. This summer her graduating class is celebrating its' 50th reunion and she will be missed.
Ann had a love of animals, particularly cats. When she was about 10 years of age, she found and adopted the world's ugliest cat: gnarly, snaggle toothed and cross eyed. Of course, the cat's name was Scruffy and Scruffy loved Ann too.
Being almost 6 feet tall in the early 70s, wearing then stylish bell bottom trousers, Ann was quite the impressive young lady. She wore the 70s styles, ponchos and crocheted vests, and stood out.
She graduated at age 17. There were very few opportunities at that time in a small town for work, so she ventured out into the world becoming a traveler. She was in California, Oklahoma, and places in between, ending up in New York. She met and eventually married Mr. Kenneth Chin. They discovered that love, companionship, and shared life is just enough.
I am thankful to Kenneth for being in Ann's life and am thankful to have both of them in mine.
Ann was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Chin, and by her parents Harold and Rosalee Fredrickson. Ann is survived by siblings Zara, Susan, John, Katherine, and Mary.
