

AnneMarie Luongo, 89, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 8, 2015 at the Joe Raso Hospice House of New City. She was born on May 13, 1926 in Manhattan, NY to James and Jane (Mulvenna) Jamieson. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph Luongo and her sister Margaret Henning. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked as a Lab Technician for Vicks Research and was a member of the New City Senior II Club for 35 years and also a parishioner of St. Paul's Church for over 40 years. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family and cherished her great-grandchildren. She also adored her many pets over the years. She is survived by her brother Alexander Jamieson (Mary), and sister Jane Corish, as well as her son Joseph Luongo (Meredith) of Palm Coast FL, and daughter Lorraine Londino of Congers. She leaves behind six grandchildren: Sandra Harrington (Andrew) of New City, NY, Alexander Londino (Kelly) of New City, NY, Joseph Luongo of Marlton, NJ, Kristie Richardson (Kevin) of Perry, NY, Michael Luongo (Gabrielle) of Madison, NJ, Stephen Luongo of Pensacola, FL and nine great-grandchildren: Sean, Colin, Ryan, and Kevin Harrington, Alexander and Sophia Londino, Cooper Luongo, Jackson Richardson and Kaitlin Luongo. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Al Londino (Rock Londino).Family will receive visitors on Sunday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, 10 am at St. Paul's Church, Congers, NY. Burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Congers, NY.
