He is predeceased by his parents and daughters Deborah Ann and Sharon. He is survived by his wife Joanne of 60 years and daughter Laura (Tom) Connors.
Frank, Anthony or Tony, as you prefer, graduated from CCNY with a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Education. He was a Social Studies teacher at 143 Junior High School in Washington Heights for 34 years. After retiring in 1990, Frank became a coordinator for Retired Teachers of Rockland and Westchester for the UFT for 25 years. He was always available for union activities including attending conventions, making phone calls, participating in marches, lobbying, stuffing envelopes, etc. Frank was also a Real Estate Broker of Pollice Realty Inc. in Rockland County.
Frank enjoyed traveling, Jai Alai, gambling, cruising, Broadway, trivia, and making people laugh. You tell a joke, he had a joke. He was also an avid METS fan. He will be missed by many people he touched, but mostly by his family for being an “Ideal husband and father.”
