Charles Francis Patrick McManus passed away on February 16, 2012. He was born on February 16, 1945 to Patrick and Marie (Ferguson) McManus in the Bronx, NY. He has been a resident of Rockland County since 1970. He worked as a detective for the NYPD for many years. He will be missed by all who knew him. Charles is survived by his loving wife Lynne, his sons Thomas and his wife Sharmila of Upper Nyack, NY, and Scott of Upper Nyack, NY; his daughters Amy from Upper Nyack and Jill of Upper Nyack; his brother Thomas and his wife Theresa of Middleburg, NY; and his sisters Eileen and her husband George Parsons of Valley Cottage, Bernadine and her husband Jay Tripaldi of Vally Cottage, Maureen Flynn of Fort Lee, NJ, Anne Daye of Messina, NY and Peggy Sheehan of Cape Cod. Family may receive friends on Monday from 6pm-8pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Services will be held on Monday at 8:15pm at the funeral home. Private cremation will follow.
