Daniel G. Priest of New City, NY passed away on June 15, 2015. Danny was a loving father, son, grandpa, uncle and friend. He was extremely proud of his Irish heritage, an avid Yankee and Giants fan who enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends. He was a lifetime resident of New City and a proud member of Sheet Metal Workers Local #38.He was the beloved father of Daniel J. Priest and Mollie Priest and proud grandpa to Daniel Boyd Priest (and his mom Hadley Bissell), beloved son of Patricia Priest (nee McShane) and the late Daniel X. Priest. He was the always entertaining and loving brother to Patricia (Horan), Lori-Ann (Crofoot and husband Bruce), Sean (and wife Helen) and Tracy (McKenna). Much loved uncle to Ashley, George, Sebastian, Shannon, James, Luke, Jennifer, Jamieson and Maddison and dear friend to Penni Scaccio. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Family will receive visitors on Thursday from 4-9pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. A brief service will take place Friday 11am at the funeral home.
