Diana was the best neighbor anyone could ask for.   She was a kind and caring person.  She was like a second mother to our sons Frank and Mike, who love to be there to play with Mike and Dave.   She had the patience of a saint, always smiling, nothing seemed  to bother her.  She was devoted to her family and loved every minute spent with them.  We will all miss you Diana, Rest in Peace🙏🏻

Diana was a shining star in the world of education.  She loved and was loved by students, parents and teachers. She left this world better off than she found it and her loss leaves a giant hole in the hearts of all her knew her.  I worked with Diana at Prospect Hill for more than 30 years and will always remember her dedication and devotion to the school and to the students she helped.

Dear St. John Family,

We were deeply saddened to hear of Mrs. St. John’s passing. She was an incredible teacher who went above and beyond, always finding the positive in every situation and inspiring those around her. Her unwavering encouragement and support meant so much to our family, and we were grateful for the way she cared for our kids. She truly brought out the best in them, and in all her students. Today, the heavens are brighter because of her light.

Diana has been such a wonderful friend. From the moment I first met her in the food stand at Liberty Little League when our sons played together many years ago, she has been a true blue friend. She was my exercise buddy at various classes and we walked around Rockland Lake and Congers Lake sharing stories and helping each other through thick and thin. She guided me through taking care of my aunt and helped her last years to be in the way she wanted them to be...all because of Diana's help and guidance. We enjoyed each others families and I am so happy that we were able to enjoy a cruise and dinners out with Marty ...always laughter, wonderful memories.
I have been missing my dear friend for these months and will continue to miss her forever. Loving you always, Diana.

Diana became my friend when she started teaching in Pelham. We both lived in Rockland and enjoyed being together at many school events and parties. We shared a love of dogs and our students, and I was so happy to spend time with Marty on many occasions.

I began my teaching career at Prospect Hill as a student teacher. Diana was kind, nurturing and welcoming. When I was hired three years later, she mentored myself and many others with warmth, wit and wisdom. I am very sad to hear of her passing, but know definitively she’s in heaven. ❤️🙏

My heart is broken.   When I was a little kid, I couldn't wait for when my cousins Jeannie, Skee, Joanne and Diana would come up to Cape Cod each summer to stay for a couple of weeks at my dad's beach cottage.  It was so much fun and everyone had so many laughs.   My condolences to Joanne, Marty, Michael and David and all of her grandkids, nieces and nephews.
