Emma, as she was known to all those that loved her, was born on January 4, 1921 in the small village of Bellizzi, province of Avellino, Italy. She emigrated to the United States in 1930, and met her husband, Emilio Musich, in NYC. They married in 1953 and lived happily together for 64 years, until Emilio passed away in November 2017. Evelyn and Emilio raised six children in Flushing, Queens and then relocated to Rockland County in 2002. She loved children and was a wonderful mother. Emma loved to cook, read, write, tend her garden, crochet, travel, play the slots and spend time with family. She was grateful to God for her blessings.
Evelyn is survived by her younger brother, Joseph Cerulli, and sister, Rose Lang; six devoted children, Michael (Suzanne), Perry (Eileen), James, Steven (Diana), Patricia Bohan, and Emily; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Erin, Amanda, Nicole, Thomas, Tina, Maria and Amelia; five great grandchildren, Illyana, Alexander, Ezra, Isadora and Emerson, and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband, Emilio, sisters Anna and Nancy, and son-in-law, Peter Bohan. The Musich family is thankful for the many years of wonderful memories and support that she and Emilio provided for their children and grandchildren.
