Henriette Eisenzopf

Henriette Eisenzopf passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026. She courageously lived with Alzheimer’s disease for several years before her passing.

Henriette was born in Lienfeld, Slovenia on March 22, 1941 to Josef and Josefa Eppich. She emigrated to the United States in July 1955. She graduated from Saint Aloysius High School in Brooklyn, NY in 1958. She met the love of her life Egon Eisenzopf at the Gottscheer Club in Ridgewood NY and on January 30th, 1964 they were married.

Henriette devoted her life to raising her children, daughter Anita and son Peter, with unconditional love, strength and guidance. Henriette worked for more than a decade at the dental office of Dr Corsig. She enjoyed daily walks at Rockland Lake and around the pond at Mira Vie. She spent her summers at the town pool swimming laps and soaking up the sun with her wonderful group of friends.

Henriette’s home was the heart of many cherished holiday celebrations shared with family. She found great happiness in bringing her family together for special occasions.

Henriette is survived by her loving children: Anita and her husband Paul Statkevich of Raritan, NJ and Peter and his wife Nichole of Guilderland, NY. Henriette will be missed dearly by her grandchildren: Andrew (Erin) Statkevich, Amanda (Cameron) Cook, Shane and Kyle Eisenzopf.

Family & friends will be received on Tuesday, May 19 from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 AM at St Augustine Church in New City, NY. Burial to follow at St Anthony’s Cemetery in Nanuet, NY.
