John P. Brennan of Brooklyn, NY, 84 years old, passed away unexpectedly on August 17, 2021. He is survived by his three daughters, Kathleen, Amy (Peter) and Christine (Stephen). He is also survived by three grandchildren (Patsy, Joseph and Evelyn).
John was born in Brooklyn, NY to John and Rose Brennan on October 10, 1936. He was a loving father and grandfather. He loved being with friends and family. He loved to travel, especially with cousins to Ireland. John was a proud member of the New York City Police Department for 22 years.
Family will receive friends and family on Monday, August 23rd from 2 - 4 PM and 7 - 9 PM at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, August 24th at 10 AM at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish at 128 Parrott Road in West Nyack followed by a burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
