Laurette Lynn Mets, 44, passed away on October 25, 2015. She was born on November 13, 1970 in Suffern, NY to Evelyn and Karl Mets. She graduated from Ramapo High School and became a Neuro-Diagnostic Technician and worked for Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in NYC. Hiking in the woods with her Rottweiler was her happy place. She will be missed by all who knew her. Laurette is survived by her mother Evelyn, her ex-husband Jeff Marsilio, and her son Karl Mets-Marsilio. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City. Services will be held on Thursday, 8pm, at the funeral home, followed by a private cremation.
