Lorian Macaylo

Lorian Macaylo of Valley Cottage, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at age 94. She is survived by her son (Clifford), daughter-in-law (Amy), and her two grandchildren (Rex and Jade). She was predeceased by her husband, Nick; son, Richard; and twin sister, Gloria.

Lorian led a long and accomplished life. Born in New York, NY to Mary and John Riga on December 26, 1930, she spent much of her life in Rockland County, where she raised her children and worked for decades in Clarkstown as a County Associate.

Her life was marked by a strength and fortitude that her family will always cherish and an infectious sense of humor that endeared her to all those around her.

A visitation for Lorian will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brick Church, 220 Brick Church Rd, Spring Valley, NY 10977. A Funeral Service will occur Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 220 Brick Church Rd, Spring Valley, NY 10977. A burial will occur Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at The Brick Church Cemetery, 221 Brick Church Rd, Spring Valley, NY 10977.
