Mrs. O'Rourke was for 65 years the devoted wife of Raymond J. O'Rourke. She was the loving mother of Raymond J. O'Rourke Jr (Patricia), James O'Rourke (Lisa) both of Garrison, NY, Elizabeth O'Sullivan (Timothy) of Tuxedo Park, NY and Christopher O'Rourke (Geralyn) of Pearl River, NY. She leaves 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Mrs. O'Rourke received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Hunter College in NY and her master's in library science from William Patterson College in NJ. For 30 years she served as a librarian in the Nyack Public School District, Nyack, NY.
A visitation will be held at Michael J Higgins Funeral Home in New City, on Thursday January 9, 2020, from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday January 10, 2020 at 11:30am at St. Anthony Church in Naunet, Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.
