I grew up with Danny but met Mike 1st through my brother he was always d j ing you could hear the music blasting from his top floor apt on 58th and 18th we would chill fir a few and listen sometimes he d come out with thst smile. But as I became friends with Danny one of my best friends   Mike was always around lol best  dude on the planet he fucked wit. Us bought us McDonald’s gave US dollars lol. We were so young.  So sorry to hear about this my condolences to his wife n kids and Vera. I miss you guys so much especially Danny.

Remembering you always. Not a single day goes by.

Although I was only 14 when my beautiful nephew was born, I’ve been saying since then that he was my firstborn.  I couldn’t have loved him more if I were his own mother.  We were inseparable.  My only mission in life back then was to make him happy and flourish him with gifts and unconditional love.  We had so many private jokes between us that I could never begin (or want) to divulge them.  We stayed close throughout the years, even though we no longer lived close in proximity.  I was so proud of the man he became.  He loved his wife and children immensely and was a great provider for his family.  He had a big heart, and was probably the funniest person I ever knew.  I know people say things like that when loved ones die, but it’s the God’s honest truth.  My heart goes out to Nicole, Mikey, Sophie, Ella, his mother Vera, his uncle Mike, cousins Tommy and Larissa, and to a million others who loved him and are grieving. 



Michael and I go back over 30+ years. We’ve lived together, worked together went on vacation together etc. He was like a Big Brother to me for years. He always looked out for me tried to protect me even when he could not. (Seemed like I was always protecting him lol. ) We lost touch for years then one day out of the blue we bumped into each other in LBI , he introduced me to his beautiful family as did I and we reconnected. It was like we had been together the week before and we didn’t skip a beat. We would talk a few times a month He would wax poetic about his family and how proud he was and I was so happy for him and we would always end our calls with saying we need to get  together with our families and we  never did.  Thought we had all the time in the  world. I will deeply regret never acting on those promises. So to Nicole, Michael jr, Ella and Sophie please except my deepest condolences. To my dear friend till we meet again. 💔💔💔

We offer our prayers that the soul of the servant of God, Michael be numbered among the saints and the righteous. Even though we lived far apart, I considered you one of my closest friends. We spent so much time on the phone and messenger just joking and kicking around ideas. I will miss you soooo much. I can still hear your accent while I'm writing this note. Prayers for the repose of your soul. May you rest in peace. Also prayers for Nicole, the kids and all your friends and family during this difficult time.

While I never had the pleasure of meeting Mike Jr. Ella and Sophie, all he ever did was talk about them. We didn't speak often but when we did it was mostly about family. He was the most content I ever knew him to be.  If Mike was a friend, there were no boundaries for what he would do for you. I knew that 1st hand, as I couldn't count the times he was there for me. No matter where I was or what the situation was, he was there. I like to remember the great times we had. WOW, he will be missed. Love You Mike. Until we meet again.
