Michael W. Lynch Sr. of New City passed away on April 22, 2012. Michael was born in Bronx, NY on September 14, 1952 to Marion and Vincent Lynch. He married Ann Malkin and settled in Baltimore, MD., where he graduated from Local 37 OE apprenticeship. After moving to Rockland County, he continued his career working for the NYC Department of Sanitation and later retiring from the NYC Department of Transportation. Michael served his country proudly with the United States Army during Vietnam.
Michael is survived by his wife, Ann; his children, Michael and his wife Laura, and Faron and his wife Kathy; his beloved grandchildren Adrianna and Ella.
Friends may call Wednesday April 25, 2012 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Higgins Funeral Home, 321 South Main St., New City, NY 10956. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered Thursday 10:15am at St. Francis of Assisi Church West Nyack, NY. Interment to follow at Fred Loescher Veterans Cemetery New Hempstead NY.
