.Nancy Ann MacGregor (nee O’Halloran) of New City passed away peacefully on December 8th 2015. She was born on November 14th 1934 to Ann & Patrick O’Halloran, in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated from Midwood High School, where she met and later married the love of her life, Roy, in 1956. She enjoyed nursing (LPN), cooking, and gardening. She was an avid Brooklyn Dodgers fan and later the New York Mets, but her greatest joys came from her family. To those who had the pleasure of knowing Nancy, she was the most loving, kind and caring person who always put others’ needs before her own. She is survived by her loving husband Robert Roy, son Robert MacGregor III and daughter Annemarie Stephens. She is also survived by her sisters Mary, Josephine, and Eileen. She was predeceased by her sister Agnes and Brother Jack, and her best friends Alma and Flo. Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 12th, 2015 from 3-5 & 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City. Services will be held on Sunday, December 13th, 2015, 11am, at the funeral home followed by private cremation.
