Nancy Regina Fuchs

Nancy Regina Fuchs of Bardonia, New York passed away on April 3, 2011 in Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, New York. Nancy was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 2, 1953 to August E. & Margaret J. (McNicholas) Fuchs. She has been a Bardonia resident since 1957, prior Brooklyn, N.Y. Nancy was employed by the Clarkstown Police Dept. for 20 years working as a clerk in the Dispatch & Records Division and for the last 13 years Nancy has been the secretary to the Chief of Police. She was also a Sgt. for the Clarkstown Police Dept. Auxillary Unit. Nancy was a 35 year member of the Nanuet Ambulance Corp. and held several positions with the Nanuet Ambulance Corp. She was also a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, W. Nyack and was also an Eucharistic Minister. Nancy is survived by her father August Bud Fuchs of Bardonia, NY and her brother Robert of New City. She was predeceased by her mother Margaret "Jeannette" and her sister Jane Marie Mutone.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:15AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, W. Nyack, N.Y. Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet, N.Y. Visitation will be held on Wednesday & Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Higgins Funeral Home, New City, N.Y
