

Norma R. Colomban passed away peacefully on May 29, 2011. She was 75 years old. Norma was born in the Bronx, NY on April 18th, 1936 to Ralph and Mary Cioffi. She graduated from Christopher Columbus High School and moved up to Rockland County where she raised her 4 children. She resided in Port Chester N.Y. and recently moved down to Orlando, FL. She worked in healthcare for a large medical practice. Once Retired, Norma focused on her family's commercial real estate business that she loved. Norma is survived by her loving daughter Maria and her husband David Paliotta; her 3 sons Alex, Ralph, and Joseph; her dear friend and surrogate son Rey; her loving daughter-in-law Sonja Stahl; and will be greatly missed by her 4 grandchildren, Samantha, Nicholas, Christina and Emma. Norma was all about family. She was loving, caring, generous and funny. She loved the Yankees, dining with her friends, and most of all, watching her grandchildren grow up. Norma will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Viewing will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:15am at St. Francis of Assisi Church in West Nyack, NY, followed by entombment at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY.
