Philip M. Olson, 81, of Nanuet, NY passed away on November 12th. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed. His humor and strong spirit will always be cherished. He was a U.S. Navy Korean War veteran and a graduate of NYU in 1958. He is survived by his wife, Mary of 53 years and his three sons and their wives, Mark and Brenda, Matthew and Lisa and Christopher and Bridget, as well as his seven grandchildren, Sarah, Kevin, Laura, Leanne, Jenna, Ryan and Kate. He is also survived by his sister, Hilda and husband Ray.
Family will receive visitors on Friday, November 15th from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home, New City, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday at 10:30am at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Pearl River, NY. Interment will follow at FW Loescher Veteran's Cemetery, New Hempstead, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 112 N. Main Street, Pearl River, NY 10965.
