Robert, better known to our family as "Robbit", will be greatly missed. Robert and my father John V. Byrne grew up together. Even though they were cousins, Robert and his siblings  treated my father and his sister like siblings of their own. The time that we spent at his home in New City, from swimming in the pool to hitting golf balls into the woods behind the house, are but a few of the memories that we hold dear. May he Rest In Peace with my father John, and the rest of his siblings and family that have gone before him.

"Chief" was a great father and husband, who along with Peg, raised a beautiful and tight family. John, my dear friend, I feel for your loss of your dad, who you had the utmost respect for,  and for the rest of the Byrne family. May God hold your dad gently.

For over 50 years I had the honor of knowing Bob and his loving family.  I will surely miss him but knowing he is once again with Peg gives me peace.  The love he had for his family was immeasurable they were his life, his pride, his joy.  Please know you are all in my prayers.  Xoxo Buckley ;)
