Bob Fleckenstein (Waldo) of New City, NY, 60 years old, passed away July 25th after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife Jennifer, son Joseph, daughter Jaclyn as well as brothers Steven, Peter, Sister in Law Susan, and nephews Michael and Thomas.
Bob was born in Bronx, NY to Joe and Helen Fleckenstein on August 19, 1964. He was the backbone of the family as he supported his family and raised two children. He dedicated 24 years to the NYPD. Upon retirement, Bob and his family relocated to North Carolina and have lived there for the last 11 years.
A viewing will be held on Friday, August 1st from 2-5 and 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City and Funeral Mass at St. Augustine's Church in New City on Saturday, August 2nd. followed by a burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in The Bronx, NY. Visitation services will be held at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service Inc., located at 321 South Main Street, New City, NY, 10956, on August 1, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
