

Rosalie was born in the Bronx, NY to Frank Pipolo and Anna Volpe Pipolo. Rosalie was the youngest of 12 children. She is survived only by her twin brother Louis Pipolo.
She attended PS 71 and graduated from Walton High School. After graduation, she worked at Wallach’s Department Store.
She married her High School sweetheart Peter Marzec in 1965. She was predeceased by her husband in July. They would have celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary this past September.
In 1971, they moved to Pearl River to raise their family.
She is survived by her children Peter (Norine), Michael (Georgeann), Rosalie (Josh), and John (Lesley). She absolutely adored her seven grandchildren Dominic, Dylan, Josh, Grace, Wyatt, Georgia and Trevor.
In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, watching classic movies on the Hallmark Channel/Turner Classic Movies, playing solitaire and going to the casino. She loved hosting parties and holidays for her extended family and friends. She loved laughing and making people laugh. It was truly infectious. She is infamous for getting her holiday cards out well in advance of everyone else.
Visitation will be Monday, October 30th, from 4-8pm at Michael J Higgins Funeral Home, New City, NY. Entombment to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Nanuet on Tuesday the 31st.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
