My deepest sympathies to the Kay family.  I met Scott while we were both leading our local Pop Warner organizations.  Scott was a fiercely competitive man whom I had great respect for.  I was shocked to learn of his passing.  Although I hadn't spoken to him in a number of years, I will always remember those Pop Warner days with fond memories.

Upon looking at the Scott Kay website I learned of his passing; I'm truly sorry for your loss.  I have the privilege of owning some pieces of his silver collections and have and will always treasure them.  Please know that you are surrounded by much love and support and I truly wish you peace and hope all of your wonderful memories of the time you shared with this remarkable, talented man will bring some comfort to you and yours.

My sincere condolences to the Kay family.  As so many have voiced, Scott's passing is indeed a shock and palpable loss to the fine jewelry industry.  Our industry has benefited greatly by Scott's focus and drive in creating a successful brand that always adhered to his strong core values.  His commanding presence, positive energy and unwavering devotion to the integrity of all he did was an inspiration to those who had the pleasure of knowing him.  Let us remember his mantra and "Never Compromise".

My deepest sympathies to the Kay family. I was proud to call Scott my friend and whenever we spoke his love of family and his pride in each of you was always foremost on his mind. We would often sign off reminding each other that likely we were the two most blessed men in the world and that each day is indeed a gift from above. If there is any solace at a time like this, it comes in knowing that Scott lived life to the fullest and on his terms. His light will continue to shine and live on in all of us.
