1987 attending the Super bowl in California . We did a day trip to Vegas and played cards , craps and bet the Giants to win . We had a blast and it was one of the best weekends of my life with my best friend . 

I remember a dinner we had last year in Boca Raton:  A drink at the bar, a nice meal, a bottle (or two) of good wine, and at the end of it all he wanted Tartufo - an Italian I cream treat. He was like a kid and enjoyed life...

Dear Christine, 
Les and I are greatly saddened to learn of Vasco's passing.  We winter in 3A and met you both briefly last year in Highland Beach.  Vasco was charming with a great sense of humor, and we looked forward to spending time with both of you later this year.  We are very sorry for what you are going through. Please let us know if we can help in any way.    You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I am deeply grieved at the passing of my brother Vasko Zadrima. He will be sorely missed by me and my family of 8 children of  4 nephews and 4 nieces  and my grandchildren. I love you so very much.

You have no idea how very upset I am about the message you gave me yesterday. I just can’t believe, or don’t want to believe, it to be true. There is no way for me to explain the sadness I feel. Vasko was a good, reliable and trusted friend and I will certainly miss him, as I know many others will as well. 
Our condolences are offered to the family and please know he was a very special person to us all.

I was totally shocked to hear of my old friends passing. While we hadn’t seen each other for years I have nothing but great memories. He did so much for me early in my career that I’m thankful for. The mike Tyson fight in Atlantic City, hunting upstate and fishing in Montauk with Bob Silvestri. All great parts of my life I’ll never forget. Rest in Peace my old friend. 

So many wonderful memories with Vasko; Super Bowl 21 in LA and Super Bowl 25 in Tampa; fishing in the keys ; building our homes together ; he drove me to a Giant -Eagles game in 1986 six days after my spine surgery in his corvette ; he was doing 130 MPH so we can stop in AC and hit the dice table befor the game he ten averages almost 130 MPH and we made kickoff ; Giants won 17-14  and he had me back home ; of course I popped a bunch of stitches and left some blood on his vette but we had a great time . You could not find a more loyal  friend and devoted to Christine , Nicole and Big Nick .. he was one of a kind and I will miss him dearly but his spirit will be with me all the time! Love you Big V and RIP and you are now reunited with Nicky , Mom , Dad and your sister ! Christine is a rock and Nicole and the baby will give her many years of love and she will never let you go ... the baby will know all about Papa ! 

I am going to miss you Uncle Vasko.
