He is preceded in passing by his mother and father, Beverly and Wallace Green.
Carl is survived by his many children, grandchildren, siblings, service dog 'Bear' and life partner, Tracy.
Carl's biggest accomplishment in life was raising his children. He was proud of his knowledge in his special interests and sharing that information with loved ones. He was also a very proud grandpa. Carl loved being outside, listening to music, spending time with his grandkids and cooking. We will miss his 'good ole days' stories, life advice, and 'the dad look' that he so often gave us when we were being silly.
His daughter, Marissah, would like to share a short story about Carl; Though everything wasn't always perfect, I will never forget the countless hours he spent with me during the day when my twins were newborns and I was a single, 16 year old mom. He brought me my favorite snacks, took care of the babies and most importantly showed me that things weren't so bad.
His son, Jason, would like to share that Carl took him on numerous outings and taught him everything he knows about hunting and fishing.
His daughter, Ranee, would like to share that Carl told her that the outdoors is the only place that he felt peace. He used to take her camping and also to the sand dunes/refuge.
His daughter, Kara, would like to share that he taught her all about fishing and they liked to take fishing trips together.
To honor Carl's wishes, no service will be held but he will be celebrated in our memories forever.
