He is survived by wife of 63 years Mary Kay, children Jeff Fossland (Teresa), Lisa Tombaugh (Scott), Sara Butterfield, Tony Fossland. 13 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Octor and Magdalen (Mandy) Fossland, brother Richard, sister Gloria.
James retired from Honeywell/Alliant Tech Systems in April of 1991, he loved to fish, watch old westerns, and be with his forever bride, Mary Kay. He was a life time member with the Crystal Knights of Columbus. You could find him tinkering in his workshop and was a man of many talents. His sense of humor was infectious, and the love for his family has always shown through.
Please join us for a Celebration of James' Life on Monday, November 30th from 4-6pm at Kapala-Glodek-Malone Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday December 1st, 11:00am at the Church of St. Raphael, in Crystal, MN. James will be interred at Gethsemane Cemetery, in New Hope, MN.
