A private memorial gathering will be held in the near future. Private inurnment will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington.

Joan was born Jan 30, 1931, in Ballston Lake, NY, the daughter of Dora and Berend Lievestro. She married Charles Robert Tarbox on Oct 15, 1949, in Schenectady, NY. He passed away in February 2008.
Surviving are her children, Brian (Becky) Tarbox, East Bethel, MN and Lisa (John) Visel, Murphy, NC.; grandchildren, Jessica (Matt) Ellison, Erica (Joe) Conlin and Christiaan Tarbox all of MN; 6 great-grandchildren and one sister Alberta Finch, Trenton , NJ.
Joan is preceded in death by her parents; sons Wayne and Barry and 3 brothers.
She was employed at Unit 5 Administration Offices and State Farm Insurance before retiring in 1989.
