I went to Gibbs School with Nick in the 1930's.  Finally Googled him and found the Obituary.

Nick one of the first to welcome me and my late husband Vern to the neighborhood in 2000, with his friendly wave and welcoming smile.  Those never went away, even through his hard times.  I will miss seeing him across the street.  My sympathy goes out to everyone who knew this sweet man.

To the Bongiovannis -- I just heard about Nick's passing. I worked with him at the Cucina in the late 90s and he was such a sweet and funny guy. I loved seeing him at the State Fair selling pizza on a stick. The world has lost a wonderful man. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Our prayers and thoughts are with Nick's family.  As someone who attends 11AM Mass on Sunday at St. Raphael's I'm sure I am just another face in the pew, but Nick always handed out a smile with each bulletin after Mass.  He was a familiar face and I want his family to know he will not be forgotten

I worked for Nick at the diner on 36th and hwy 100, oh the memories.  I am so glad I got to have breakfast with him about 3 months ago.  Nick will be missed by many.
