

Louis Albert Ojeda, passed on the 13th of February, 2013 of natural causes at the age of 68. He was in a long time relationship with Bernadette Vallati. Beloved father of Louis Jr., Julie, Victoria, Angelina, Anthony and child of significant other, Aimee; and loving grandfather of Alana, Sebastian, Danielle, Eliana and Selena.
He was born in Manhattan, New York, 8th of June, 1944. The only son of the late Luis Ojeda and the late Josefina Imbert, both naturalized citizens from the United States of Mexico. Louis grew up in Manhattan, New York, but lived a great part of his life in Queens, New York. Louis was a long time member of Incarnation R.C. Church in Queens Village. He was a marksman in the U.S. Army and earned the National Defense Service Medal.
Louis, also known as Louie, OJ and Sgt. OJ, was employed by Pepsi Cola Soda Company for over 30 years. Starting in the plant in Valhalla, New York, eventually making his way to the College Point Plant from which he retired in 2004. He was active in the Teamsters Union. Louie lifelong fan of the Miami Dolphins, the NY Yankees and WWE Wrestling. Louie loved to play softball, do jigsaw and crossword puzzles and be surrounded by family.
Reposing held at R. Stutzmann & Son’s, 2000 Hillside Avenue, New Hyde Park, NY. 2-5 and 7-9 pm Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation Church at 9:45AM. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Cemetery.
