Creig Anthony Broussard

NEW IBERIA – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Creig Anthony Broussard, age 53, at 10:00 am Monday, April 14, 2014 at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church with Fr. Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Monday until service time.

A native of Loreauville and resident of St. Martinville, Creig passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in New Iberia.

Creig was employed at NOV as a lead mechanic for the past 18 years. He enjoyed camping and spending time in the basin, going on vacation with his family, but most of all spending time with his children, family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Zachary Broussard and Mallory Broussard and their mother, Karen M. Broussard all of New Iberia; one sister, Kristie B. Huval and husband Craig of St. Martinville; three brothers, Brian G. Broussard; Mark Broussard and Michael J. Broussard and wife Angie all of New Iberia; nieces and nephews; Chase Broussard, Megan Broussard, Chase Norris, Bryson Broussard, Brody Broussard, Derek Broussard, Jacob Broussard and Kylie Huval and great nieces and nephews, Paige Broussard, Bryce Broussard and Cullen Norris.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Margaret Savoy Broussard; Maternal grandparents, Vincent and Marie Savoy and Paternal Grandparents, Aldon and Lucette Broussard.

Pallbearers will be Kerry Toups, Neil Bonin, Kirk Savoy, Sydney Guillot, III, Joey Begnaud and Tommy Trahan.
