We were young teenagers and my dad brought Doug, Jimmy Gibbs and Ferrell Decuir see Journey in 1984, in New Orleans in a VW van. It was truly an experience to have had with Doug. Music was my greatest memories with Doug@ Keystone with the boys was so cool back then. Doug, I miss you so much. I last saw Doug at Mardi Gras a few years back. We cut up! Lol! Now you know who's behind the door, like Randy Jackson would sing. I love you like a brother.  

Around every 3-5 years it seemed Doug would walk into my life for a brief time and then be gone in a moment.  We would talk through social media but never really got to sit down and talk at any length about anything.  We grew up going on fishing trips and excursions because our parents were good friends.   Recently we got to spend a weekend together and although he was not always feeling well we shared some funny memories, filled in the blanks of missing years and resurected some memories of the various trips that always had high drama with our parents.  We had some good laughs.  Its funny how it took this long to really sit and talk but I'm glad now I was able to share this time with him. He surely loved music and I know he had a great time on our breif trip. 
 Last,  I saw how much pain he was in and I am sure hes glad its done.  RIP my friend and condolences to family and friends, we will all miss him.  Andy

Doug was always very kind and always put others ahead of himself. I enjoyed riding dirt bikes, as teens and I really enjoyed seeing him play keyboards in the band Keystone. He used to pick me up to go hydro sliding. Good Times. I'll miss you my friend. You are now with my brother and your true father in heaven. Rest easy and keep rocking

SO VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS  LOSS OF DOUG. DOUG HE WAS A FIND YOUNG MAM AND A CLOSE FREIND TO ALL.HE WILL BE MISS MY ALL OF FAMILY A ND FRIENDS.REST IN PEACE DOUG IN THE ARMS OF OUR LORD.
