Earline Hebert Hebert Duhon

NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Wallace Duhon, the former Earline Hebert, age 85, at 10:00 am Wednesday February 8, 2017 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Fr. Buddy Breaux officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday with a Rosary at 6:30 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Wednesday until service time.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Duhon passed away at 6:10 am on Monday February 6, 2017 at Belle Teche Nursing Home.

Earline was a house wife and worked for St. Edwards Cafeteria. She loved to cook and dance, especially to French music. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her brother, Allen Hebert and wife Margaret of New Iberia; sister, Inez Hebert Boullion of New Iberia; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Duhon Bonin and Evelyn Hebert both of New Iberia; special nephew, Ronnie Duhon and wife Madeline of New Iberia; granddaughter, Shannon Duhon Sergeant and husband Josh; great granddaughter, Glenda Ann Sergeant; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Duhon; son, Jerry Duhon; parents. Dedier and Levie Romero Hebert; brothers, Vernice Hebert and Johnny Hebert; brothers-in-law, Earl Boullion Sr., Essie Duhon, E. J. Duhon, Eustace Duhon, Wilmer Boullion, and Ulysse Duhon; sisters-in-law, Harriet Hebert, Amelina Duhon, Hazel Duhon Dugas, Alice Duhon Vice, Helen Duhon Hulin, Lilly Duhon Boullion, and Lucille Duhon Delahoussaye; nephew, Timmy Hebert and wife Sally; and nieces, Sandra Boullion Breaux and Jackie Boullion Comeaux.

Pallbearers will be Andy Hebert, Earl “Bully” Boullion, Jr., Ty Tiger Hebert, Nick Hebert, Allen Langla, and Brett “Boogie” Hebert.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Duhon and David Gall.
