Gwen was born October 27, 1943 on Weeks Island to James J. Frawley, Sr. and the late Lillian Darcey Frawley. She and her husband David were married for over 55 years and were best friends. Their favorite pastime was going dancing. As a homemaker, she dedicated her life to the love and care of her family and lovingly raised her five children, and cared for her grandchildren and great grandchildren when they came for visits. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and actively witnessed to others about Jehovah’s love.
She leaves a legacy of love that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her and she will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her husband, David “Bro” Pichoff; her five children, Tina Pichoff Landry, Tony Pichoff and wife Robin, Terri Pichoff Derise and husband Clint, Todd Pichoff and wife SaiAna, Tanya Pichoff Decoux; nine grandchildren, Trent Landry and wife Dayna, Trish James and husband Tristen, Tia Littleton and husband Brett, Tori Derise, Taegan Bourque, Alexis “Lexie” Pichoff, LaNay Pichoff and Trace Derise; and two great grandchildren, Taryn James and Tristen “Deuce” James, II.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Darcey and her brother, James Frawley, Jr.
The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to Gwen’s doctor, Dr. Shelly Savant; to the staff of Hope Healthcare and Hospice, and to her caregivers Julie Howard and Brittnay Davis for their care and compassion.
It was Gwen’s wishes that no funeral services be held and that her family celebrate her life in a private ceremony.
