A native of Texas and resident of St. Martinville, Mr. Knight passed away at 6:10 am on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Iberia Extended Care Facility after a brief illness.
He is survived by his daughters, Kathy K. Pierce and Nancy K. Manning, both of St. Martinville; grandchildren, Jessica Templet, Jude Knight, Molly Knight; one great-grandchild, Logan Templet, and special friend, Lois Carter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christie Resweber Knight; parents, Earl Knight and Bertha McClendon Knight and son, Leonard Earl Knight.
