Jhené Lee-Ann Gardner

NEW IBERIA – Funeral services will be held for Jhené Lee-Ann Gardner at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 22. 2023 at Evangeline Funeral Home of New Iberia. Rev. John Mark Stevens will officiate. Interment will be held privately at a later date.

Visitation will be the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 am until the service time.

Jhené was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on March 16, 2023 to Jermaine Joseph Gardner, Jr. and Hannah Nicole Bourque and passed away on July 18, 2023 in New Iberia. She was four months old. Jhené was sweet and tough, and the happiest baby ever. Although her life on earth was short, she touched so many lives with her infectious smile. She will be deeply missed.

Jhené leaves behind a loving family, including her mother, Hannah Nicole Bourque; father, Jermaine Joseph Gardner, Jr. ; maternal grandmother, Patricia McClain (Warren Picard); maternal grandfather, Albert Bourque (Tina Bourque); paternal grandmother, Jejuana Loston; paternal great grandmother, Catherine Lopez (Robert Lopez) ; paternal great grandfather, Leo Loston, Jr. and numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family who loved Jhené so much.

Jhené was welcomed into heaven by her paternal grandfather, Jermaine Gardner, Sr.; maternal great grandmothers, Laura McClain and Barbara Bourque; paternal great grandfather Hayward Greene; and paternal great great grandmother, Elva Mae Evans.
