Manny Paul Derouen

NEW IBERIA – Funeral services will be conducted for Manny Paul Derouen, age 32, on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Evangeline Funeral Home. Brother Bart Boyer will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Evangeline Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and will resume on Tuesday from 8:00 am until services.

A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Manny passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Iberia Medical Center.

Manny was employed with Tubular Solutions Lafayette office. He loved spending time with his children and enjoyed watching them at the soccer games. He was a friend to many and will be missed dearly.

Survivors include his wife Dawn Evans Derouen, and his children, Macie Lynn Renee Derouen, Dawson Christopher Derouen, Miley Rae Derouen and Dakota Grace Derouen all of New Iberia; his parents, Avery and Eva Pitre Derouen; his sisters, Madrecka Derouen Landry and husband Billy and Montreen Derouen Badeaux all of New Iberia; a brother, Marcel Derouen New Iberia; and his nephews, Seth, Noah and Ethan Landry.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Madgrical Derouen; and his grandparents, Roual and Lovinia Guillotte Pitre, Etienne Derouen, and Rena Romero Derouen Owens.

Serving as pallbearers will be Toby Landry, Keith Lopresto, Gerald Louviere, Jeremy Ackal, Michael Hebert and Dustin McBride.

His son Dawson and brother Marcel will serve as honorary pallbearers.
