A native of Jersey City, New Jersey and resident of Youngsville, Richard passed away at 1:25 pm on Sunday, February 16, 2014 in New Iberia.
He is survived by his children, Richard James Hickman, Jr., Alcibiade Joseph Hickman, Darlene Monica Hickman and Corey Richard Hickman; step daughters, Emily Nicole Munsen and Jaylin Talivia Boutte;
His father, Richard Stephen Hickman; two sisters, Michele Hickman and Danielle Hickman; one brother, Edward Hickman; nephews, Anthony Bragg, Michael Espinoza and Ethan Hickman and his very special friends, Curtis Bonin, Karl Overstreet, Christal O’Quinn, Jamie O’Quinn and Robert Plaguer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Monica Lynn Hickman, son, Christopher Hickman and his mother, Darlene Carrole Todd.
