Robert Earl Penn

NEW IBERIA – Memorial Services will be conducted for Robert Earl Penn, age 60, at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at St. Peters Catholic Church with Fr. William Blanda officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Mausoleum.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church from 9:00 am until the time of services with a Rosary being recited at 9:30 am.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Penn passed away at 12:45 pm on Friday, August 21, 2015 at his residence.

Robert was a free spirited and fun loving man. He enjoyed bowling, playing baseball and chess, and spending time with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Donna Thibodeaux Penn; daughter, Angela Boutte; three grandchildren, Jacob, Megan, and Westley Boutte; two sisters, Jackie Penn Broussard and husband Reving, Jr. and Charlotte Penn Gesser; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Louis and Rhea Ducote Penn; nephew, Zane Patrick Broussard; paternal grandparents Robert and Eve Ellen Penn; and maternal grandparents, Oliver and Zoea Ducote.
