NEW IBERIA – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Ronald James Boudreaux, age 70, at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church with Msgr. J. Robert Romero officiating. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 9:00 am until 10:30 am at Evangeline Funeral Home.
A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Boudreaux passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 1:15 pm at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Boudreaux was affectionately known by his family and friends as “Bouch”. He enjoyed watching sporting events and playing softball, especially when he was able to share the field with his son Brock. He was able to fulfill a lifelong dream by attending the US Open with his son in law, Blaze.
Ronald loved spending time with his family and friends and will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Halphen Boudreaux of New Iberia; three daughters, Michelle Boudreaux and Monique Fremin and husband Blaze all of Lafayette; Genee Berard of New Iberia; five grandchildren, Zachary Fremin, Morgan Fremin, William Bujard, II, Brock Bujard and Luke Jones, two brothers, Rickey Boudreaux and Roddy Boudreaux and two sisters, Sharon Provost and Charlene Boudreaux all of New Iberia.
He is preceded in death by his son, Brock Anthony Boudreaux and his parents, Alton and Ella Hoffpauir Boudreaux.
Pallbearers will be Blaze Fremin, Zachary Fremin, William Bujard, Chase Boudreaux, Colby Boudreaux and Colin Boudreaux.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rickey Boudreaux, Brock Bujard and Luke Jones.
