Mrs. Clark was born on August 31, 1916 in New London the daughter of George and Alma Jameson Sturges. She is predeceased by her husband of more than 50 years Ralph M. Clark in 1989. At the time of her death she was the oldest living Mohegan indian.
Mrs. Clark is survived by her two sons, Ralph Clark and wife Carol and John Clark and wife Shelia. Her four grandchildren Nathan, Amy, and Dennis Clark and Allyson Jaeger. Her three great-grandchildren Justin, Jordan, and Jacob Scott.
A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 10:00am in Fort Shantok Cemetery, Uncasville. Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, New London is handling the arrangements.
