Barbara ( Baldwin) Jackson of Groton, Ct. passed away July 11, 2025 from congestive heart failure. Born in New London, Ct., John graduated from Fitch Jr. and Sr. High Schools Groton Ct.
John was a strong and gentle man that was very devoted to his family. Playing weekly lotto and watching sports on T.V. were some of his favorite passions. He was loved by many and will be truly missed.
John was predeceased by his mother, Barbara Jackson, father, William A. Jackson Sr., and his brother William Arthur Jackson, Jr.
John is survived by his brother Glenn Jackson of Groton Ct., various cousins and family members in Ct., Delaware, Mass., NY, FL and California.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the nurses, aides and staff who provided such compassionate care and became close friends during the past few years.
A graveside service for John will be held Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Broad St., New London, CT.
