Leonard Alan Latham

Leonard A. Latham, 68, of Mystic, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Lawrence & Memorial surrounded by his loving family.
Leonard was born on August 31, 1952 in New London to Andrew and Helen (Gore) Latham. Growing up in North Stonington he was an avid sports fan and athlete participating in track, baseball and basketball high school sports. A true New England sports fan, he enjoyed watching the Patriots, Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins. Lenny also had a passion for muscle cars and owned several throughout his life. He had an incredible love for all animals and rescued as many as he possibly could, his home was filled with cats that were dropped off and unwanted by others, he loved them dearly and cared for them until his last days. His biggest passion was for his daughter, Stephanie, or as he would call her, "Noodles". Leonard will be remembered for his kindness, big heart and amazing sense of humor which always brought laughter and smiles to his family and friends. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, and nephew.
Leonard is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Latham-Magee of Goshen; brother, Kenneth A. Latham of Stonington; sister, Lorna Siwinski of North Stonington; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Andrew J. Latham, Jr. of Florida.
A small celebration of Leonard's life will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
