She was born on July 31, 1933, in Waukesha, WI, the daughter of William N. Goodman and Margaret Adams Goodman.
Mrs. Martin was a retired registered nurse. She went to nursing school in Milwaukee and worked for many years in Milwaukee and Burbank, CA. She was also licensed in Arkansas.
She is survived by her husband James; stepdaughters Teresa Martin of Eastham, MA and Rosalind Martin of Austin, TX and her granddaughter Allegra Martin, also of Eastham, MA. She was predeceased by her son Gregory Schaefer.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday September 15th from 5-7pm at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 181 Ocean Ave., New London.
