It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Pamela Natale, 63, of New London, CT. Pam passed away in her home on September 11, 2021 after a short illness. Born in New Milford, CT on February 23, 1958, Pam is the daughter of the late James Natale and Carol (Petterson) Natale of Gales Ferry, CT.
For those who knew her best, Pam’s greatest aspiration in life was to be an artist who lived by the sea. Her passion for the arts was a lifelong commitment that spanned music, theater, crafting, and most especially, jewelry design. Her home overflowed with mementos, works of art, and the widest variety of her own personal projects, reflecting the diversity of her interests. With each project you'd always find a scrap of paper revealing a rough sketch or quick outline of the idea she was hoping to create.
Complementing her love of the arts, Pam also had a passion for travel. From her adventures across the Caribbean to her visits to Rome, Paris, and Istanbul, her curiosity about new places and cultures fueled her art, which in turn fueled her endless desire to see more and more of the world. While her photo albums rarely included portraits, they overflowed with pictures of tapestries, paintings, sculptures, and the local architecture, which invariably made their way back to New London and into one of her own works of art.
Pam will be greatly missed by her friends and colleagues, her extended family, and her two brothers, David Natale of Windsor, CT and Peter Natale of Quechee, VT.
Services will be announced at a later date.
