Azilee Simpson Williams

Azilee Simpson Williams entered into eternal rest on Saturday,October 1, 2011 at the age of 90 at La Porte, TX where she resided since Hurricane Katrina. A native of New Orleans, LA., Azilee, the wife of the late Warren Williams, Sr. The daughter of the late Edward Simpson, Sr. and Ozerlee Coleman Simpson.

Beloved and cherished mother of Paulette Williams Taylor and Warren Williams, Jr. Mother-in-law of Gasper A. Robinson (Blood);and Mary Williams. Adored grandmother of five; great-grandmother of 13 and one great-great grandchild. Sister of Edward Simpson, Jr., Delores Simpson Naylor of New Orleans, LA and Allen Simpson of San Francisco, CA. Azilee is preceded in death by three sisters. Azilee Simpson Williams, leave to mourn a host of nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

Family and friends, Doctors’, Nurses’ and Gulf Coast Hospice Care of La Porte, TX are invited to attend the service at 10:00 am for the Home Going on Saturday, October 8, 2011 from the New Orleans home of Jacob Schoen & Son 3827 Canal St., New Orleans.Visitation will begin at 8:00am.
