Beverly Marie Offner

Beverly Lafitte Offner, beloved wife of the late Elvis Levern Offner, and daughter of the late Edgar E. Lafitte Sr. and Angele Villere, at 8:25 PM on 4/29/2011; 87 years old; Mother of Deitra Freeman of Mandeville, Cheryl Hammond of Metairie, Don Michael Offner of Slidell, and Craig Robert Offner of Covington; also survived by six grandchildren, Erin Seeger, Brian E. Hammond, Michael Hammond, Don M. Offner Jr., Joell O. Thonn, and Kelly Ann Guinn, also two step grandchidren, Daniel Freeman and Deborah Smith; mother - in - law of Lori Offner and Drayton Freeman; six great grandchildren, Landon Buck, Cas Hammond, Johnathan Hammond, Madison Offner, Blake Thonn, and Colin Thonn; Sister of the late Edgar E. Lafitte, Jr. of Amelia Island , Florida. She was a member of St. James Major Catholic Church, also the Immaculate Conception Sodality, JFF Club and AARP Lake Terrace Chapter 1515. There will be a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial, conducted at the chapel of Jacob Schoen and Sons Funeral Home at 3827 Canal St. Wednesday, May 4th at 12:00 PM; visitation will be from 9:00 AM till service time.
