Courtney-Anne Jordan Carroll

Courtney-Anne Carroll passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at the age of 19. She is survived by her parents, Paul Carroll and Emilie Dreuil LaCoste, as well as her step-father, Ronald LaCoste, Jr., her siblings, Paul and William Carroll, step-siblings, Sabrina, Ronald Joseph, and Traci LaCoste. She was the granddaughter of Emile Dreuil and the late Marie-Louise Dreuil as well as Margaret Carroll and the late John Carroll of Chicago. She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends as well as by her canine companion, Santo.

She was a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home in Reserve. She was a student at Delgado Community College with a 3.5 GPA and was starting nursing school in January. She was a former student at St. Francis Xavier, St. Louis King of France, Ursuline Academy, and Mt. Carmel Academy.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 12:15 PM. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Metairie Cemetery at a later date.
