Elizabeth Hope Eber Casenza

Elizabeth Eber Casenza entered into God’s loving grace on Tuesday August 27, 2013. Born on February 9, 1943 in New Orleans, LA and resident of St. Bernard, LA until 2005. Elizabeth then resided in Kenner, LA until her passing. She was preceded in death by her daughter Lisa Casenza O'Brien, her parents Emerson and Rosemary R. Eber. Survivors include her loving husband of 49 years Clifford B. Casenza, son Stephen J. (Susan), 4 grandchildren who she loved “To The Moon”, Rachel A. and Brant J. O'Brien and Sarah M. and Emily R. Casenza. Also, survived by many cousins, nieces , nephews, her dearest friends and co-workers. Elizabeth was a Graduate of Academy of The Holy Angels. She also was a CCD Teacher for St. Mark’s Catholic School in St. Bernard. LA for many years , a Brownie and Girl Scout Troop Leader for Troop #229 associated with St. Mark’s Catholic School. Elizabeth was employed by East Jefferson

Physicians Group as a Medical Assistant for Dr. Brian J. Naccari, MD for the past 15 years. Elizabeth will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Saint Philip Neri 6500 Kawanee Ave. Metairie, LA; on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 am until service time. A private interment will held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
