Francis T. Folse

Francis T. Folse, age 98 passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012. He was born in Raceland, Louisiana and was a long time resident of Jefferson, Louisiana. Francis was parishioner of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Jefferson for 64 years. He was with the U.S. Post Office for 37 years of service. Francis was the son of the late Edna Guidroz Folse and the late Hayward F. Folse. Francis was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Catherine Anne Brice Folse, a son, George Folse and daughter in law, Teri Rayes Folse; sisters, Alice Folse Cami and Edna Folse Couvillion also his brothers, Hayward and William Folse.

He is survived by his son, Edward Francis Folse, Patricia Folse Kerth (Henry) and Mary Folse Roberts (Steven), 9 grandchildren, Jeanette Kerth-McKeaney(Brian), Brigette Folse, Jennifer Folse Allison (Dennis), Donna Kerth, Rhonda Folse Solomon (Steve) , Roxanne Folse Shifter (William) , Ryan Kerth (Brandy) , Blake Roberts (Jennifer Cannistra ) , Darcy Roberts Ronan (Stephen) and 11 great grandchildren, Maegan Shifer, Skyler Baker , Gannon Allison , Brennan McKeaney , Evan Shifter, Edward Allison , Maxwell Allison , Stella Allison, Lyla Solomon, Edward Ronan, Bryce Roberts; also a sister, Joy Folse Gilmore and a brother, Hudson Folse. Family and friends are invited to the visitation Sunday, November 4th beginning at 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Monday, November 5th, visitation will begin at 9:00 am followed with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 in the chapel at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, New Orleans, burial will be at Hope Mausoleum.
