

Harold Henry Niemann, was born July 18,1914 to Alma Edna Rau and Theodore Frederick Niemann in New Orleans, LA. On January 2,2012 Harold danced through the pearly gates to join the rest of his family and his Lord at 97 years young. Anyone who knew him, knew he LOVED his mother, loved to dance, and he loved sports. He served in the Civilian Conservation Corp in 1935.He was an Army Veteran of WWII (275th QMC).He retired from Blue Plate Foods.He was a devoted husband of the late Elois Plunkett for 30 yrs and the late Anna Benedetto for 10 years.He is survived only by nieces and nephews and his long time companion Beverly Cook.He was a caring brother of Elsie Gumpert,Sidney,Dorothy Washington, Warren,Norma Post, Evelyn Acosta,Clarence, Claire Jeanfreau Reed,Alma Lea and Betty.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass from the chapel of Jacob Schoen on January 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans. Condolences may be expressed online at www.schoencanalstreet.com
