Harold R. Winters Sr.

Harold Raymond Winters, Sr., better known as “Hap”, beloved husband of Marilyn Jacob Winters, son of August Michael Winters and Isabelle Bourgeois, father of Bambi Wingrave, Harold “Bubby” Winters, Jr., Sherry Campo, Stacy Mancuso, Dana Bagwill, and Brandy Hemelt, and brother of the late August and Ferdinand Winters, entered the gates of heaven on May 3, 2010, at the age of 75. He is survived by his son-in-laws Robert Wingrave, Joseph Campo D.D.S., Lawrence Mancuso, Thomas Bagwill, and Lt. Commander Gregory Hemelt. Grandchildren include, Casey and Amy Wingrave, Debra Taylor, Jodie and Garrett Daguimol, Joey & Casey Mancuso, Thomas “Chase”, Benjamin, and Emily Bagwill, and Emma, Tyler, and Jack Hemelt. All loved him dearly. He was a life-long member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish. Past employers included NOPSI and B & G Crane Service (Local 406). He enjoyed golf, softball, tennis, the occasional bocce match, and bowling with his family on Thanksgiving night -- a tradition that will continue.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 3368 Esplanade Ave, on Friday, May 7, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM.
